World Education Leaders Forum for College Students
On July 12th, 2013, 18 university chancellors from the world and 15 Korean university representatives had gathered for the first World Education Leaders Forum held at Nurimaru APEC House in Haeundae, Busan. At the forum, Ministers and national and foreign university chancellors discussed on student exchange programs, forming internship programs, co-sponsoring Korean education centers, ODA projects, and etc. They also exchanged their views on mutual interests and discussed organizing a committee to practice the ideas suggested in the forum and electing the board members.
Purpose
- To develop successful college education to foster global leaders with virtues and humanity.
- To share experiences in education and on successful practices from universities around the world.
- To explore mutual development of schools and build a global cooperation system.
